Why the bloody h**l does my favorite character die when I find another fandom?!?!?!?!
(This next part may contain spoilers, so if anyone hasn't seen a particular movie/book, stop reading. Michal, watch Repo before reading this.)

PROOF!!!

Dustfinger from the Inkheart series: gives up his life to save Farid from dying. Oh, come on! Why the pyros?! He was the best one!!!

Sydney Carton from A Tale of Two Cities: goes to the guillotine instead of Darnay. He was so tragic, too. The kind of guy you really hope gets the happy ending because he deserves it more than anyone else.

Nathan Wallace/Repo Man from Repo: The Genetic Opera: You have GOT to be kidding me. He's the one with the best voice. He's killed by his boss after being guilted into killing hundreds of people, (gaining a different personality in the process) and losing all faith from his only daughter. Nathan severely needs a hug, but the Repo Man...Don't get me started...*blush*

And countless others that I can't elaberate on here.

Javert from Les Miserable: I find myself unable to hate him...
Erik from The Phantom of the Opera: sorry, Gerik fans, in almost every other version (including Leroux's, he dies. It's really sad, he was the tragic one, too...
Sweeney Todd/Bob Barker: REALLY??? First he loses his wife, then his daughter, then his wife again? Why add death on top of that???
